I'm calling this "The Labor Day Weekend that keeps on giving". In spite of my weigh in, recover has started. I feel confident that there will be a difference in Monday's weigh in - but just to be sure I've got to find out more about Tracy's Weekend Watch Program.

Sorry to all my Buddies that I haven't been around much these past 2 days. I think it is fantastic that so many people are active this week and plan to catch up with everybody. Also, I wanted to make it a point to let you know that I do go back and read your comments on my late journals. Your encouragement is very much appreciated.

Today I am thankful for my Buddies. DH and I were talking about my weight loss and he said something about how I've done it all myself. I had to set him straight on that - couldn't have done it without you!

Diet Calendar Entry for 07 September 2012:
1028 kcal Fat: 64.68g | Prot: 68.48g | Carb: 42.91g.   Breakfast: egg, Deli turkey, brewed coffee, half and half. Lunch: Lemon Juice, Kraft Greek, feta cheese, Deli Ham, tomato, onion, cucumber, Spring Mix. Dinner: Ragu Traditional, Ground round, Chicken Sausage, Black Olives, Hard Boiled Egg, Yogurt Ranch, Banana Pepper, Swiss Cheese, Tomato, Spring Mix. Snacks/Other: Deli Ham, Strawberries, brewed coffee, half and half. more...

Hey Buffy - don't worry we'll get you back on track. If you look in the Every Day is a New Start! Challenge and scroll down to Latest Challenge Posts you will see one called Operation Weekend Watch. What me and Erin are doing are just reporting in (me every Saturday/Sunday Morning and Night) and just leave a quick note what you have planned for the day and how it went. I think I was falling off track on weekends because I wasn't actually reporting into FS as there is not always time, but this way it is just a matter of leaving a quick note really to yourself reminding you to plan the day and stay on track. I think it is about accountability and then you stick to it :) I also don't believe I could have done this without you!

Tracy - You are so right, accountability is key here. My weekend downfall is breakfast with DH (during the week days we do not eat breakfast together). So my plan for this weekend is to sit down and have a small portion, drink coffee and chat. Just because he has 1/2 pound of sausage doesn't mean I have to!

That is the way Buffy - plan your weekends like you do your weeks - I found no plan I just keep eating and worry about it later. I'm thinking of the saying "If a leaf falls in a forest, and no one is around, does it make a noise?"...."If I eat something, and no one is on FS, does it count as calories?" - ok so from now on Operation Weekend Watch is watching you...and yes the calories do count!!

you can do what needs to be done...you have the determination and ability to avoid the temptations - you proved it with the chocolate and pizza the other day! think of how good you feel when you make the heathy choices instead. Have a great weekend!

Buffy, I so agree with you about FS making weight loss possible. It made a HUGE difference just knowing others were going through the same things as I was. I think it's great that you can feel your body adjusting back into a loss mode. If you get tempted over the weekend, just tell yourself, "Not today.....but maybe next Wednesday" or something similar. By Wednesday, you won't want it!

Sandy - Nice strategy - next Wednesday it will be moldy - LOL! I'm also going to the Operation Weekend Watch first thing Saturday morning. Hope you have another rain free day.
