Happy Sunday FS family.

Not fearing the scale tomorrow as I just spent the last 1 hr going over the data from 10/5 - 10/11 and comparing it against 10/12 - 10/18

10/5 - 10/11: 2005 avg cal, 115 avg net carb, 10/12 213.8 lbs
10/12 - 10/18: 1681 avg cal, 120 avg net carb, 10/19 211.8 lbs

On the surface, it would appear that that reducing my calories explains why the scale weight went down considering my physical activities daily were similar both weeks. I believe it to be attributed to something else.

In good spirits, I have and will continue to support my fellow brothers and sisters who believe in the calorie in calorie out method and they believe that it got them to their desired weight. I am not sold yet and will continue to forge on.

I tweaked my fasting last week and ate foods every day and felt in control before, during and after eating each meal. For the 1st time in maybe a year or so, I went to bed 2 times last week without dinner because I was full from a late lunch.

For the record, I did not have a lowered calorie goal last week. I ate in a way that I felt satisfied and this was freeing.

I'm no fool and I believe I need to repeat this past week's protocol to see if this trend continues and if not, make the necessary adjustments for the following week.

Wishing everyone on your individual journey success.

Let's go!!!

you have higher carbs and lower calories on the second week, will that mess with your percentages?? kind of curious what your game plan is. it is great you have total control.

Thanks @Baskington. The carb increase was unintentional but the scale number was lower so I feel compelled to repeat the process for at least one week or two before I draw and conclusions. I am far from total control. I am a work in process and my journey continues

Thanks @chrisw77, @jenjabba, @Draglist. Monday's weigh in is expected to be higher but I'm ok with it. Too many fluctuations daily and looking at things week to week maybe better for my sanity, lol.

Go Ches Go! - For my own numbers (gaining 4 pounds in the last 4 days). Water matters. With my body, water is NOT predictable. Also, water accounts for 8-10 pounds in 'either direction'. That ONE factor frustrates my ability to accurately predict anything :)
