Let's work on this memorization of 1 John 3:1 -- Breaking it down to this ONE sentence first. It is just ONE sentence out of THREE. We got this!

"How great is the love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God."

Today's lesson - "A Shift in Perspective" came from Dr. Tony Evans' "Your Comeback." Our Sunday school class just recently completed this lesson (also on Right Now Media app) and let's just say I missed a couple, but I did see this one. Seeing it a 2nd time was not a bad thing, as I am in a different place now than I was then. I was recently reminded of circumstances that resulted in anger, hurt, and abandoned feelings that remain today. A comeback can occur through Divine intervention.

-- We all face trials and let's face it, we could use a comeback.
-- We have to see how God uses our struggles/fears/anger/hurt/abandoned feelings to help others after His Divine intervention.
-- God meets us in our own space, and through His power and grace, turns something bad into something better to benefit ourselves and others. That is a Comeback!
--Chaos after being transformed by God's Divine power and grace, can turn into something to celebrate.
-- The Lord calls us to take care of widows and orphans.
-- Everyone loves a comeback and everyone needs to experience one.
-- Comebacks are needed --- the reversals of the broken parts of our lives.
-- The Bible is full of Divine interventions.
-- God loves a comeback. He wants what is good for us and for others.
-- God has a plan for each of us. He can take our yesterdays crisis for today or tomorrow's comeback.
-- Comebacks are tossing aside the enemy's lies to me and turning my face to God's glory and His plan.
-- First and foremost, stop trying to fix it myself. Give it to God and He will come thru!
-- Focus on God and be obedient to Him.
-- Remember, our experiences of pain, God can use to turn to His glory.
-- Think differently to experience a comeback.
-- Swallow my pride.
-- 2 Kings 5: 1-14 (Naaman, the commander of the army of King Aram experienced his comeback.)

Excited to think we could have an online Bible group - sharing what we are learning with others. :)

Yesterday I walked the dog three times, did my Flat Stomach workout (the reps are starting to increase now!), and was to do the 7 minute leg workout but decided to do a TV workout instead. I found myself on YouTube and did a Richard Simmons and the Silver Fox workout. It was super basic, but seeing those over 55 doing the workout with Richard in their pastel workout attire....was worth it. My shoulders were worked out for sure! Keep in mind that you can mix up your workouts. Find something different -- there are so many options available at our fingertips now from Fitness Marshall to Richard Simmons and everything in between. Just do something! And above all, have fun with it. :)
