Happy Monday everyone. it is a beautiful morning. I had a busy weekend getting the house painted before the weather turns. I am waiting on my labs to post so I can see where things are for me in the chemistry department. I am holding pretty good blood glucose levels (80 to 110) on average so I am pretty happy with this. I have really reduced the evening Carbs to below 30 at dinner and that has helped a lot. I am still having the occasional mid morning crash (mid 50s to 60s) so I am keeping an eye on that. My lesson learned is that I need to remain flexible and not get easily wound up over my BGL. My course to date (Alive day 307) is that I am routinely in the normal range, I feel great (not you pancreas), I still get to eat (and often more than I can finish), A vast number of little health issues have vanished and my weight has remained really stable. I am so blessed for my life. It is all about perspective - Today I am choosing to be happy and grateful. There is not enough time to waste it on being negative and morose and I am not going to throw away any more hours that could be enjoyed. The Picture is the Sunset on my drive home Thursday - just spectacular. I hope that you all find the joy on your own adventures and spend the time we are given wisely. Onward to coffee and lunch. Namaste.

So glad you are feeling positive. I shudder every time I think of what it would feel like to have my pancreas decide to crash me into the mid 50! That-is-not-ok! :( But, of course YOUR 'mature' attitude to accept the situation and behave responsibly... For me, I can 'fail' and 'overshoot' my goals and the worst that happens is I gain a few pounds. No big deal.

nice post. great job on the blood sugar. a friend of mine is type one, and always adjusting but has gotten her morning crashes down by less carbs and less insulin. did you ever find Dr Bernstein book? it's for insulin dependant diabetics and basically the bible for type one diabetics.

Looks like the Carson Valley to me. Beautiful. Miss the area terribly. Just can't do cold. All the best to you. 💫

@ Jenjabba - I have his book in hand and it is really interesting. I have adopted a number of his ideas (not all just yet) and am trying to find my path. It has helped me to understand a great deal about how my system is functioning under current conditions.
