So today is actually day 6 of Induction but I am just now starting to get the hang of the net carbs. Hopefully I can do better and get the scale moving. I have just been at a stand still for 5 days. Maybe I should go to zero carbs for a while and see if that makes a difference??

Do you have the book? I use the 2002 version on my Kindle. Later versions have been made friendlier to the public, and can cause problems for a lot of people. The Atkins website has dubious information too, especially concerning the amount of vegetables you can have every day. Atkins himself said two cups of salad vegetables and one cup of vegetables from the "other" category, but the website makes it look like you can have six cups based on the carb information. Go by the book, it's tried and true.

Also -- and I am not trying to micromanage your food intake, I promise -- prunes are a big no-no. You are not to have any fruit or berries during induction. Please get the book! It helps so much.

I agree with lemonella -- the book is a valuable resource that I go back to often -- even after 2-1/2 years of doing Atkins.
