I've completely missed logging activity - the walking here is strenuous - it's quite hilly and we've logged a ton of kilometers. It's all good and healthy but today I've had to put the voltaren cream on my hip. It'll be an interesting day - we're getting to meet more of our DIL to be's family - at a family reunion in the mountains. Apparently there's a roast beef, turkey and ham - and that's all I know... We've picked up a large veggie tray and I'll be taking cheese keto crackers, and bottled water and 0 carb sparkling water with us. DIL wants to leave by 10 am so we're there for lunch and dinner. It's 7:30 am and it's feeling chilly outside - hope it warms up - I didn't bring much in the way of warmer clothes... The smoke from forest fires was bad yesterday and there was ash falling from the sky when we went out yesterday morning. Every morning so far we've had breakfast at a place called Farm Fresh - it's owned by the same company our son works for and everything truly is farm fresh. Yesterday I switched it up and had a vegetarian style breakfast - fried egg, topped with a slice of tomato, hot sauce, slice of white cheddar and another egg and more hot sauce served with half an avocado - #heavenonaplate #ketoappropriate #Yum


Great meal last night at our son's - I cooked (I do miss cooking when we travel). My version of chicken carbonara with mushrooms and spinach in it and broccoli on the side. It was nice to be able to cook for them, a little different cooking in someone else's kitchen though. You know your kid misses your cooking when he's posting about it on FB LOL!

Loved what you wrote, but I kept staring at the picture of your hand over the food. I was wondering what the heck you had in your hand for like a couple of minutes. Then I realized it was your phone(I think) taking a picture of your plate. ..Thanks for the few minutes of distraction...lol
