So unfortunately we've had to cut our trip short by a day due to the wildfires. The smoke has meant there are no flights in or out of the local airport so we're having to catch a 12 hour bus ride in order to catch our 2nd of 3 flights to get home Wednesday night. It breaks my heart that our son and family live 4,000 miles away but he's happy here and all of her family are here... Had supper at their place again tonight and I totally blew the my macro's - protein's through the roof, net carbs are slightly over and total calories are high as well... I have the next 2 days to get it sorted out and get back on track. The scale wasn't too bad this morning, and I did hit the hotel gym when frustrations were high trying to sort out our get-home plans.... Hard as hell saying goodbye this evening, and so not looking forwrd to 12 hours on a bus tomorrow followed by a travel day. Could be an excuse to eat & drink to self-sooth but I'm not going there. Going to say goodnight now and be up early packing up to go...
