Another good day for exercise. I went into Columbia for work and no I didn't get up early to workout. So I did some work and came home, changed and headed right to the Y (so I could be home in time for Biggest Loser). I did a little over an hour on the elliptical and then came home and did Day 2 of the Jillian Michaels workout. Tomorrow is supposed to be a rest day for that one. I have a meeting tomorrow night, so I need to get up and get my cardio in in the morning. Ate well. My friend and I went to this oriental place that is FANTASTIC; I got the garlic chicken, but everything is steamed and brown rice. So doing well. Can't wait for Monday!! Oh! My meetings tomorrow and on Friday are geocaching meetings, but they're at restaurants. Can anyone suggest a good thing to eat (low points/healthy) at a Mexican rest. and a BBQ place? For Mexican I was thinking like a Taco Salad maybe? Unsure about the BBQ, since Greg and I are hosting it and I'm always doing something I may try to eat before.

Anyway, off to read journals!

Great workouts! As for Mexican, I was just at a Mexican restaurant and did have the taco salad. My only suggestions would be to skip eating the taco bowl they usually come with and, if possible, ask for chicken topping rather than beef. And if you want to cut the points further, ask them to leave out the cheese. Other than that, you could have a fajita (chicken and/or shrimp) but they always give you so much and supply you with 3 or 4 tortillas so you would have to show restraint and either share with someone or have the rest boxed up to take home. And a BBQ at home gives you so many wonderful options. You can have chicken breast, salmon, shrimp skewers, grilled veggies, etc. There are lots of healthy choices for you! Have a great week!

I'm not on ww, but last time I was at a mexican restaurant I had the most delicious black bean soup. it tasted healthy, although I didn't see the nutrition info. great job on the exercise, still! :) Looking forward to seeing your chart reward you by going down some more!

I'm TERRIBLE at eating out, so I will just quietly admire any strength and wise choices you make! You know, I wish there was a workout DVD with Jillian that we could watch while we were on the treadmill, eliptical or bike! that might be more effective, huh? I'm glad to see that you're a Biggest Loser fan. I LOVE THAT SHOW!
