Abbaddabba, I was wishing I had someone behind me rubbing my neck all day at work the past 2 days. ;)

Mostly non weight loss related: Will at least get steps in today and the frig cleaned out. The old neck feels so much better this am, sleep also does the body good. It will be a catch up weekend for me on the house and yard and maybe a mud run tonight--depends on if my DD is still racing her truck.

I did buy a new laptop last night. It will take sometime to get it all set up the way I want it especially since I'm starting with nothing to transfer. HP 17.5 touch screen with 16GB RAM and I TB memory and a faster processor. So bigger and faster than my previous one and a touchscreen that I kept wishing I had like my tablet. Definitely need to disable hot keys! Just lost a post.

I was thinking on my way home that my 1st IBM 360 had a 5mb hard drive and the prior Apple 2E didn't have a hard drive. The 360 had a modem but we had no internet avail to use. Computers have changed so much.

sounds like an awesome machine you got there and yes they have changed so much. I am glad your neck feels better this morning, pain is no fun.

Glen, My first husband gave the most amazing back rubs, my only "professional" massage was a total disappointment, have never had another. My first exposure to a computer keyboard was in anti static gear in an amazing isolated room. My first job was processing long distance operator marked cards to change to key punched cards to load into a huge computer for AT&T billing in 1967. Once in a while we would get to go into one of the computer control rooms. I didn't major in business because I didn't want to take a computer class that had you making key punch cards in the hundreds with a little paper punch tool. LOL Odd what little things guide your life.

Interesting reading about the old computers. The first one I saw was as big as a room. It was at my husband's university and I helped type some input into it. If you typed something wrong the computer would type back "what?". Made me laugh.

Doobrie back then when computers, their back up, key punch and sorting machines took up many story city block sized buildings you would have never thought that you would be able to carry around a smart phone. a tablet or a laptop that would be capable of doing more than many of those huge systems. I love how the internet has changed communication. As teen my dad was transferred often so 4 different high schools. I may have been able to keep in contact with many friends back then like my kids now do with their old friends.
