Coffee in the morning before my workout continues to be a good thing. It helps me in two main ways:

1) I usually have a hard time getting up to drag myself to the gym. But it's easy to get up for a cup of coffee and 20 minutes of reading. By the time I'm finished reading I'm alert and ready to go workout.

2) Once I'm at the gym my energy level is higher and I work out harder.
