You could always look at a warm climate that has a lower cost of living than Hawaii. I looked at moving there quite a few years ago but decided the cost of living was just too high to make it a good move. The southwestern part of this country is beautiful and stays pretty warm through the winter. Then there's always the southern coastal areas too (if you like the beaches). So many options!
