Ha! An Entire 2 Ounces. So I am joining the IF's, I think. Nothing in my mouth except for black coffee since 9 pm last night. I crave salt at bedtime and NEEDED to eat 1/4 ounce of Soppresatta.
If my math is correct-which I suck at, I think I can eat in a window between 1-6? I think I am going to put it off from 2-7.
Gotta get this scale moving again.
Hey, for all of you that supported my journal yesterday, Much Appreciated!!!

I started IF yesterday. Hoping it will kick my fat burning into high gear! Good luck!

Craving salt is an indication of your body wanting certain minerals. Here's a chart.

I started the IF' yesterday and so far, I'm liking it. I'm doing the 16/8 and my 8 hours of eating are from 11am'ish to 8pm'ish.

Kimberliefielding, I'm mathematically-challenged, too, so I checked this on a calculator: "Two-tenths" of a pound ("0.2 lb.") is 3.2 ounces, almost a quarter-pounder! So, you've lost 1.2 ounces more than you thought! Claim every ounce you can! Build up to IF. One doctor recommends starting out at 12/12 and proceed an hour at a time to 16/8 (e.g., eating window 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.). Once you're comfortable with that, you can try "stretching" your fast window as you feel able. Also, "open your feeding window" gently, with a small meal. Your goal is to your allotted caloriescompletely within your feeding window.

@Christal Lane, you can do an eight-hour feeding window from 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., or 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

No problem, Kimberlie! I use a calculator and Quicken to do my checkbook and *still* have to make "adjustments."
