Feeling down...same as everyone here today I think. I can't even blame the holiday...we didn't do anything special food-wise. But all the sad, angry, "why don't I just give up" posts today made me look at my stats for the month. I can't complain. I want to...I just can't. I started this "diet" the last week of April and here we are in the last week of May and I have lost 20 pounds. I don't think I've ever lost 20 pounds in one month unless I was in the hospital. My monthly averages are all under my max or above my min for my macros and I. just. can't. complain. But I think that part of the difference is all of the stories I get to see on this site of people who are right where I am. You are all fighting this fight with me. I feel better every time I comment "stick with it!" on someone's post who just doesn't feel like it's worth it any more. It is worth it. Maybe not all of you guys are doing it so you won't die but I am. I am. I have decided that I would rather live and get healthy and do all those things I never got to do. Heck I would settle for being able to do the things that I used to be able to do. I'm ready! This time IS different!
