Bought about a million snacks today in search of something that I can eat that will give me the feeling that I ate "something good". Still searching lol. I ate rice with my teriyaki chicken tonight and it just triggered a binge. I can't not eat rice but I sure do hate what happens next. My diet technically isn't low carb but certain things just seem to bring out the worst in me and I eat everything in sight. I don't want to give up rice and bread and pasta but...I might have to. I'm not sure they are worth this.

It’s not easy. I have the same problem with potatoes. They just trigger a binge EVERY time. I haven’t had bread, rice or pasta in over a month. I allow myself 1 of those on the weekend. Do I miss sandwiches-yes. Pasta-yes. Potatoes-oh yeah! However, my health is more important, so you have to draw a line. You’re not alone in your struggle. And it’s hard to struggle with something-eating-that you need to do everyday. Drugs, alcohol you can walk away from. They don’t have to be part of your daily life. Food is different. Changing my relationship with food is the hardest thing I’ve ever had to do and it’s an ongoing process. Best of luck to you!✊🏽
