I am taking an impromptu rest day from exercising. I ramped up my fitness calendar a week and a half ago, and my body is feeling the shift. I watched Kungfu Panda after work while eating dinner and soaking my feet in hot epsom water. Mmmm.

Body, I love you. Thank you for taking me from A to B, being with me through thick and thin, believing that I can go up all those stairs and staying with me as I try to lose weight. You are the one body I have in this life, and I hope I am treating you well. I know I have been giving you lots of sugar, and it's not fair to prioritize flavor over health. I know, and I am working at being better and healthy every day. I do, I really love you, oh body of mine. Rest today.
