Hello friends!
It has been a while since I have made it on here. The last three weeks have been one crazy ride. I traveled for work three times in 2 1/2 weeks. In the middle of that I woke up one night with my husband, 2 first responders and paramedics looking at me. Apparently I had a seizure, and scared my husband half to death, so he called 911. They took me to the hospital and ran a few tests and said I have a Chiari 1 malformation, but that doesn't normally lead to seizures. So they let me go. I did my follow up with my doctor this week and he is sending me to a neurologist for further testing, although everything he did in his office came out normal. So still waiting. Not gonna lie I have shed a few tears in fear and frustration. So right now I am working on distressing and not pushing myself so hard.
During my travels we walked a lot and I tried to eat salads as often as i could so I was excited that I had only gained 3 pounds. I am not doing any more traveling for work until June, whew!
Looking forward to getting back to normal, whatever that is.

Wow that is scary. Interesting, too, because they are often evident at birth so kind of unusual you had no symptoms earlier in life. And seizures are not generally part of the symptoms. Be well, buddy. Let us know if you need anything.
