Happy Weekend, my Best Buddies!

So, as my buddy NorthernMusician recently mentioned - the holiday is one, maybe two days in the entire month of December! If we can adjust our attitude from "free for all eating because it is the holidays" to allowing some food on the special days, we may all escape without the typical weight gain! I joined the "Log Every Day in December Challenge" so I can be better accountable to myself. I must log it all - even on vacation! So it will be the good, the bad and the ugly!

#Burn the Fat, Feed the Muscle - Tom Venuto


Short Range Goals:

* Return to LCHF - with slight increase in protein - Jan 2017
* Original goal weight on Idiot Boxes while retaining muscle - March 2017
* Work with trainer to modify workouts after FOOT SURGERY Dec. 19th
* Drink at least 12 - 14 cups of fresh water daily - especially on gym days
* Continue HIIT mixed in with weight lifting four to five days
* Keep up the training notebook to achieve progressive overload

Long Range Goals: 2017

*Bodyfat at 20% or less (Current 24.5%)by year end
*Maintain Idiot Boxes around 152-156lbs staying under goal weight
*Increased strength, endurance and flexibility during workouts

Hey Buddy, thanks for the nudge in the right direction. I am back to logging, working on my core and walking again...no matter how darn cold and windy it is!

You are so right! Last night at a Christmas dinner I tried to really gauge what I was eating but it is hard when you can't measure the food yourself. I did however, not go back for seconds even though I wanted to. I also didn't stuff myself.
