Greetings Best Buddies:

Happy Tuesday - I just returned from my Orange Theory Fitness workout and was back to my usual level of energy and strength!

WOW - who would have thought such a small change could make so much difference! I am back to the straight coconut oil in my Bulletproof Coffee for now.

My next Frankenstein experiment may be to use grassfed butter, coconut oil and MCT oil to see if I get a quick energy burst but with lasting power!

@Greg - I got the NowSports brand MCT oil at Whole Foods - like $22 for a huge bottle

Hi HCB - I have the grassfed butter and coconut oil ready, but have been afraid of Bulletproof Coffee raising my cholesterol . Have you had an issue with that? I've read mixed reviews... :)

Thank you for letting us know. I'll stick with my coconut oil then at least until you say it works better together (if it does) . If both work better together at least it will last longer. I need to check trader joe's and see if they have it or if I need to order it.

I am a huge fan of bullet proof coffee - consistent use for me now for over a year. I use organic coconut oil, pat of butter, s-f coffee syrup flavoring & mix it well in my bullet. I top off the frothy deliciousness with cinnamon. Another great tip - when I am rushed for time & prefer not to cook, I add one scoop of healthy protein powder as meal replacement. It's marvelous. I attribute much if the significant weight loss in my belly area to a steady consumption of coconut oil. Lost 21 inches in my gut alone (resulting from consistent low carb lifestyle). Bottoms up! Keep up your awesome efforts H! WTG!
