Happy Weekend, my Buddies:
Have you ever had a day when all you wanted to do was NOTHING?
Today is that day for me. It is not in a lazy way exactly; it is in the I just need some "down-time" way.
The weather is gorgeous for a nice bike ride or walk...nope, I want to do NOTHING.
There are movies to see or people to visit...nope, I want to do NOTHING.
My husband wanted to take me to lunch...nope, I want to do NOTHING.
There is laundry to be done and floors to be mopped...nope, I want to do NOTHING.
NOTHING is highly undervalued. We run from from place to place, event to event and seldom let ourselves just catch up with our own physical/emotional/spiritual selves.
Today, I will be conscientious about doing NOTHING.
The word of the week is CONSCIENTIOUS.
I am dedicated, determined, and diligent!
