That is soooo awesome! I have lowered my BMI 7 points. Last time I went to the doctor, I was all proud, and she said "You know according to the charts you're still technically obese." GREAT. And you know what? At 175 pounds I am STILL TECHNICALLY OBESE. The chart changes at 169 pounds. I don't know if I'll lose 6 pounds this month or not. But anyway, I digress. It's fabulous that you went down 9 points on your BMI - they (medical people) are always so after us to get that down.

Super cool, super-woman! I had to go calculate mine; I've lowered mine 9.6 since December; 5.7 of that while on FS. I have to hit my goal to reach the normal/acceptable range. I was excited when I became simply overweight; I should be over the moon when I become "normal", lol!

Congratulations on your new BMI number! I think the number speaks louder than the word -- don't you -- as per the word "obese" which kmartdollie references in her comment. Again - great job!

Way to go! Keep up the good work!

kmartdollie: You are so right! When I hit my current goal weight, I will still be considered in the "overweight" category. I would have to lose an dadditional 25 or 30 pounds to hit "normal"! I am short so the expectation is a much lower weight than I believe I could really maintain. And, BMI does not measure fitness or lean muscle mass in the equation...but I a thriled to see it go down the scale as doctors seem to live by it!

You are doing terrific HCB. Grats on your new BMI #. As for me, I dislike those chart words, like obese and overweight. They just make us feel bad. We have to feel good in our skin and that is why we are here to live healthier lives and feel better about how we look. You are sooo close to onederland and I can't wait until you get there!!! It is driving me as crazy as it did when it was me lol. :)
