Well I guess I'm sort of fasting, I wasn't feeling that well last so had a bit of something to eat around 6:30pm and then was rushing around this morning and forgot to eat my breakfast - not really like me to forget a meal lol. oh well will need to see if I can make it through till lunch or raid my lunch bag early...lol - I did get my tea this morning with cream so I know its not a real fast, but I'll tell you it has been a very long time since I've gone 14 hours without eating something:)Big weigh in day tomorrow so excited to see if I've managed to bounce back from the thanksgiving weekend extravaganza of eating...lol

Hey @cb thanks I was feeling much better this morning:) @184 well I did make it through to 17 hours like I said except for the tea and cream and didn't feel that bad actually makes me think I could possibly do a fast as long as I can have my tea, because that is a must:) Thanks for the support

Some keto nutritionists would argue that if the cream doesn't raise your blood glucose, it doesn't break your fast. YKMV. Hope you're having a great day; can't wait to hear how lunch went. --- YES I'm logging again today! I just couldn't deal with not having numbers. Hoping my "stop logging for two days" crash diet method will go big and make us all wildly wealthy; it's Oprah material, right?! ROTFLOL.

@T8U9 Welcome back!!! good to know because I do think I can do some level of fasting now after doing it for 17 hours inadvertently:) not something I could have done on my high carb diet, but my hunger feels different now - lunch was good, I wasn't ravenous, but enjoyed it...I'm sure Oprah will be in touch soon, good thing I'm losing some weight...hear TV adds 10 lbs...lol be well my friend:)

Leanne Vogel talks quite a bit about fasting variations well suited to women. I'm not her acolyte or anything; I disagree with a few things she says. But her site is worth checking out, for a counterweight to all of the male-based generally-accepted keto gospel. (MBGAKG?)
