I respect the many different styles of eating for healthy weight loss. I have tried just about every manner of eating through the years; and I agree that one's success often depends upon willingness to control our meals (which usually means more cooking and a good helping of experimentation)! If we're lucky we have a (good cook) -- cooperative spouse or family member who is ready to jump on our food wagon. (Unfortunately 🤔) I am the only volunteer in my house who is willing to cook! For health reasons I choose to eat vegetarian. I'm seriously cutting back on fat and fatty foods. Eggs and fish are also on my no-no list, although I will eat a small amount in a pinch. I have cut way back on dairy, but I confess my guilty pleasure is any kind of cheese (I swear that I am part mouse🐭)! Goals: I am an aspiring vegan. Mostly it's learning to cook and bake vegan, as this is a total flip-flop from the way I have always eaten. So, eat and be well (whatever works for you), and I will try to do the same.
