Ok, thanks to Gigi39, I recorded what I ate, and was over what I want to eat in carbs, fat, calories. It was all good stuff ,but too much fat, and not enough veggies, although my subway salad had lots of spinach, cucumber, green pepper, tomato, etc. I will try to remember yesterday's.

The only thing that keeps me on track is recording everything, even when I screw up and eat stuff I know I shouldn't.

Yes, you guys are right. Easy to get enough off track to start gaining back that which I fought hard to lose.

Good luck getting your veggies in. It is so easy to leave them out.

Thanks for sharing this. Sometimes i feel very embarrassed and ashamed when i fall off track. Usually weekends. Makes me feel better to actually see that others do it. This helps me to realize that i just need to suck it up and track it instead of being too embarrassed to track anything so i dont have to look at it.

Tracking, what I eat, has made all the difference in my ability to consistently lose weight. I guess it's easier to do, online, than with pencil and paper, which is what I tried to do years ago, but could never keep up with it, and the added bonus is the nutrition is calculated automatically; as opposed to looking up everything in a calorie/ carbohydrate counter. Good luck as you continue to keep up with your food diary. :-)

Thanks, guys. Yes, tracking, journaling, support is really very good because without it, it's really a difficult thing, this weight loss journey and lifestyle changes towards a healthier way of eating and living. If I track everything, I can see if I am where I want and need to be, or if am taking in more calories than I want to and more than I need to.

Lately I have been getting more careless tracking. I am getting back though.

I am still tracking everything - even though I am now where I want to be... It's now a habit - and I find it useful for making sure I eat the right balance of fat, carb, protein. I would never have reached my goal, if it wasn't for tracking on FS.
