There are no small drops, only small dieters? I don't know if that exactly works, but on my "official" weigh in, I am now under 180 lbs! When I quit smoking (yes, I have started again. Stress related), I was 171lbs. So now I'm just about 8lbs away from when I quit smoking and gained almost 30lbs in the process. I guess that's good. If I can get back to where I was a year ago (I do feel like I'm going in circles though), at least I know I'm on the right track.

I have nothing to complain about. I'm looking for a dress to wear to a wedding over Memorial Day weekend. I would like to be down enough to wear something nice. And not something that just hides my body like I did to weddings in the past two years. I would just like to look nice. It's a toss up between these two dresses. I kinda love them both!

Please vote and let me know which one!!! lol

In other news, I'm going to look for new jeans and I'm hoping I'll have dropped another size. In the mean time, my 5.

I love them both! Depends on the wedding. If it's a fun, casual affair, go w/ #1. If it's more formal, go with #2.

Those dresses are so cute! I like your choices. I agree with Starla though. Whatever the occasion best suits. Good luck!

Yeah to shopping for things to show off your body! I like #2. But I guess it depends what it looks like on. Satin can be tricky. I think go with whichever one makes you feel sexy and fab! They aren't so different in terms of more or less formal. I think. #2 is short so it can go formal or more casual. There is such a range of dresses now at weddings. As long as you're not wearing a black tie dress to a beach wedding where the bride's wearing a bikini--you are fine.

Also the bottom of the first dress makes it more dressy than if it were just plain. Tulle fancies anything up. IMHO.

i am a lover of anything vintage or pin up. there were a few more dresses, but they were in the same vein. i'm never good at choosing dresses, and in years past it has caused a melt down with me screaming, crying, and not wanting to come out of the fitting room. Hopefully since I'm working on a better me, that won't happen this year.

Yeah, I really like that 40s style of the second dress. It's so classic and flattering. And it is definitely way less traumatic to go shopping when we are proud of how we look.
