Sandy701's Journal, 29 November 2011

3.1 miles walked today via the lake route with both doggies along for all of it.

Errands changed up my schedule this week, as I had planned on doing those things later this week, and getting the tree done this afternoon. The tree, now, remains to be done. Tomorrow, I have 2 volunteer commitments, one AM and one PM, so there won't be a lot of extra time to play with.

I could try to do some decorating later tonight, but to tell the truth, I'm so exhausted from running around, keeping a tight schedule today, with which I'm out-of-practice (LOL!), I'll probably crash as soon as I get dinner ready. To top everything off, I dropped a nearly-full glass container of salad dressing as I was rearranging the 'frig. It broke and went all over the floor, the cabinets, the 'frig, etc. What a mess!!! Believe me....I'm being EXTRA careful with the spaghetti sauce jars!

Sounds like you have your priorities in the right place - the tree will wait! Just relax - You've got almost a month before Christmas.

Salad dressing can be such a pain to clean up. Like buffy said, the tree isn't going anywhere.

Sounds like your very busy..you need to take care of you as well...maybe after you get your tree up you can take a break..I hate to drop any thing on the tile floor...have to have a tight grip or it will explode all over the place...have a great day....☺

Boy, were you busy! Oh, I just know how that goes as it happens to me a LOT when I try to hurry, something happens (like dropping the bottle) that just reminds me to try & relax, cause it NEVER fails; the faster I hurry the more behinder I get! I know you want to get it all done as quickly as possible, but I am glad you were a very gracious & generous neighbor first! The tree will be waiting for you to finish up when you can take the time to actually enjoy decorating it. For me, the fun of decorating the tree comes AFTER the lights are on it. Sometimes I would just leave it with just the lights on for a day or two, just to be sure the darn lights worked good. But, it never seems to fail that sooner or later some of them go out! Why is that? So, I hope today goes better for you than yesterday!
