I've obviously fallen off this journey and am now trying to get back on track. Keeping a food journal has worked well in the past so I'm going to do it again. I'm going to need a lot of prayers over the next 90 days. I'm hoping to kick this sugar addiction and find my way back to a healthy lifestyle.

I'm with you I also have fallen and am ashamed at how much weight I have gained. I also am a Bad Coca cola drinker and that is my worst addiction Coke classic and Im a pasta freak. Love it! so hard for me. But I Know I can do it. I had back surgery about two years ago so it is really hard to get into the excercising

Thanks for the support Jeryl. I too am very ashamed of the amount of weight I've gained, particularly in the past 2 years. I went on anti-depressants for 3 months back in 2014 and it's been down-hill since then. It's great to have friends like you for positive encouragement and support.

Scientific studies have proved that sugar is more addictive than cocaine. Lab rats will pass up their addiction to cocaine to get to their sugar fix. I can't eat just a little; I'm like alcoholic; I can't eat just a little. It sets me back for days or weeks and then I'm depressed and gaining. It's just not worth it to me, so I avoid sugar completely. It simplifies my life and allows me to be in control, on so many levels. To me is is just an evil, addictive health-wrecker. Possibly poison is the right word; it made me 120 lbs overweight and sick!
