mrendaa1's Journal, 02 March 2016

Kind of bummed I went off my diet for 2 days and didn't record those calories in my log - I started back up on March 1st-- this Friday marks 60 days for me on my journey-- I haven't steeped on the scale since my little binge but hoping the scale is friendly on Friday -- I'm really upset with myself for my actions -- it's frustrating to me that I was weak and "gave up" for 2 days--- mistakes and minor bumps in the road happen along the way, but u need to be ready to continue on the journey !! IM READY!!

No worries Mrendaa1, it happens, use your frustration to fuel a new "I can do this" attitude and your "oops" will be worth it.

We all need "cheat" days Mrendaa1. Honestly, that is the only way this journey will be sustainable. I've tried eating salads all week before and that fell short very quickly. But when I started giving myself a few cheat meals, I realized that I was able to keep my diet plans more steady. So in the long run, it has been working out much better than going cold turkey with aggressive diet plans. Enjoy those days off, but like Steven Lloyd had mentioned, use those cheat days as fuel to get back on track. Good luck!

I am right there with you! I put on my jeans and I could barely get them on and they were my 'fat jeans'. I feel so gross. But I also feel empowered to make a change. Tomorrow is a new day and I am going to make it a good healthy day! Starting out with cardio kickboxing in the morning. Good luck!
