That's a leap - sometimes muscles hold fluid after exercise. A check-in with your doctor may be a good idea.

If you feel you need to see your doctor you probably do our bodies have a way of telling us if we would just listen.

I'm going with retaining fluid...eat anything really salty this weekend? I'll say a special prayer that you're not sick and that you lose that fluid weight quickly :D

Obviously outside of some bad health condition, I would check your diet. The Protein Shake in the AM is most likely causing a spike in insulin, Rice with Chicken, Rice, Skim Chocolate Milk excess simple carbs. In looking at periods where you've gained weight, looks add though it has been preceded by a consistent string of high carb days. Skip three protein shake, go for a couple of eggs and sausage, switch the white rice for Brown, and whole milk instead of skim.... Trying to cut back on simple carbs and add in more fat.
