Trying to get back to a more LC way of doing things. Husbeast and I got derailed big-time over the past couple of months, partially due to work schedule getting in the way of things, causing havoc with our routines. For the first time in a couple of years, I was in spitting distance of my highest weight (highest weight was 295. I managed to get things under control by 281 this time).

Still trying to overcome the disruption in our lives due to work & trying to keep the husbeast on track. Managed to talk him out of hot dogs or hamburgers tonight & we agreed on a salad with nuts. It's all about compromise.

Now we both have to keep outta the ice cream that's in the fridge...

(My calorie count for today is indicating only 1200 or so calories, but it sure didn't feel like I was eating that little)

Don't NOT have hamburgers! Just wrap them in lettuce instead. I know it's not the same, but it sure satisfies the craving sometimes. Especially if you keep all the same toppings, tomatoes, onions, pickles, jalapenos (yum!), mustard, it's delish! There's a fast food place in California that serves them like that called Protein Style or the Flying Dutchman,(I have no idea why)which is a double patty since it seems everyone in Cali is doing the lo carb thing. You don't have to give up the good stuff! And I agree, you may need to give that ice cream away.
