Proana....isn't that a pro anorexic website? Should you be promoting that?

You gotta find what motivates you. Go on pinterest.com and type in "fitness inspiration or motivation". They have great quotes, recipes, pictures, etc. Take a new exercise class, try new recipes, get a new workout outfit, Get some fitness magazines and read through them. Try a new plan for a couple of weeks to jump start the losses.

@E_le_pol, you are correct....it is a Pro-Anorexic site. Interesting how it has "strong and skinny" on the page, however, i'm yet to find one "strong" woman on the site. FYI, Thigh Gaps are not cute...avoid this site....

@mahjohn It depends on what type of inspiration drives you. That site works for me, while it doesn't for others.

I don't know if this will help you but I've found that the more material I read relating to my WOE helps me.i just restarted and thought I knew the info but was dragging with my start so I started reading and it helped and I found I had forgotten a lot. So give it a try.

take it one day at a time.. thats how I do it. and set small attainable goals.. like today ill drink 100 oz of water or go to gym. completing small goals will give you as sense of accomplishment that could/should trigger motivation. Also, post here every day . all the comments and support will keep you going..

Having looked at your profile, I can see why. Cross-Country Runners and Anorexia go hand-in-hand. 5.5yrs as an anorexic, however, it doesn't appear that you are looking to resolve that...could be wrong though. By using that other site as motivation will only re-enforce the mental illness and eating disorder that is anorexia. The funny thing is, running fast over distance is hindered by anorexia, being lighter doesn't help you run faster, as the weight lost is muscle which you need to run faster. Good Luck.....out.

Anorexia, bulimia. compulsive workouts....did it all...you can overcome this, sometimes you need guidance from a trained professional. At times over the years, these habits rear their ugly heads, but I stop, and try not to think/obsess about food or working out and just make conscious efforts to do or eat what I truly want. Eat when hungry, Stop when full. Enjoy. Take a walk, work out slowly or work out hard... and treat yourself with kindness.

I wouldn't suggest a pro-ana website, strong is a new version of skinny but it's not attainable by depriving your body of nutrients and therefore the fuel it and your brain need to function. It's also extremely hurtful in the long run to both health and weightloss goals. So, I'd suggest finding a few small attainable goals each day like walking for 10-15 minutes a few times when you have a break, drinking enough water and such... and build them up-- keep a log to track your progress (you can do it!). It might also be helpful to find out how many calories your body needs at rest, Basal Metabolic Rate, so you have a guideline for the MINIMAL number of calories you need to eat in a day. You have to eat enough fuel to get your body to burn some extra otherwise it tries to basically hoard all the nutrients you give it when it begins a fasting sort of mode. Here's a neat BMR calculator if you want to try it out :) http://www.thecalculatorsite.com/health/bmr-calculator.php
