Weight was 198.2 this morning, that's down from 202.4 lbs the past weekend. I was up several times overnight getting rid of the excess water so that's being flushed out nicely. Just said NO to the gourmet chocolates sitting on the counter at work as I walked past. It feels good to be back on track.
Last night was busy, non-stop until bedtime so no time to put ice/heat on my hip and lower back. I notice the difference this morning, more pain that I've been having but nothing terrible and as I move around it's getting better. I should be able to get a 4 mile walk in at lunch and also an upper body workout this evening. Hope everyone has a great day, let's do what is in our power to make it so.

Rock On Jim! Great choices.

Sounds like you are definitely back on track. Have you thought about trying one on the waist trimmers? They don't trim your waist but they put great heat on your back when working out.

Gene, seems I had one of those years ago, wonder if it's in the closet somewhere, will have to check. Most of the lasting pain for the past few days has been in my outer calf, also feels like some muscle weakness. I guess that's how nerve stuff is, depends on where the inflammation currently is. If it continues for another week I'm thinking about seeing an orthopedist I went to a few years ago. He prescribed some steroids and they worked wonders on a similar issue.

Okay see I was thinking if your sciatic is acting up that heat would help. I have degenerative disc disease in my back and go get shots about every three months to help cope with pain and numbness.

When I was in the hospital after falling off my roof in 2013 I saw a back specialist that suggested shots as a possibility if I had continued problems. My sister broke her back years ago, is partially paralyzed, and has had numerous kinds of shots to try and block nerve pain...some of it successful and some not. I'm just leary of letting somebody mess with my back and will see if I can resolve the issue outside of that if possible. Heat from that waistband would help I'm sure, still haven't looked yet to see if I've got one but I do appreciate the suggestion.

Back on plan with the power of 'NO' -- well done . . . good luck with your 'treatment(s)'.
