In 2024 my only goal: gain 5 lb of muscle.

Sounds somewhat modest and maybe it is. But in 2023 I put on maybe 3 lb muscle in the first half of the year, then had a stomach bug that killed my appetite, unexpected life events happened, etc, and I lost that 3 and then some, then gained it back again. Now I’m back to about where I was 6 months ago 🤷‍♀️ I hope to stay healthy through this year so I can do a little better than last year.

If I can, that’ll make approximately 8lb over two years. Which is not too bad considering I’ll be turning 40 in a couple months and usually at this age people are losing muscle.

So. That’s the goal. We will see what this year brings.

How do you measure the protein?

@liv001 like how do I decide how much protein to eat? I aim for 1g per pound of body weight but if its a little lower that’s fine
