Yeah I've already been getting back on the rower for 3000-5000M at a time. Can't wait for some nicer weather so I can get outside more. Unfortunately dropped my calorie intake because I started to worry about cholesterol, and eating better, so I'm definitely stalling out on building muscle. It's hard to get all the pieces in place.

Re: the back pain I feel kinda dumb, I actually asked my doc for PT for this, now that I know what's causing it the answer is "just don't do that" I don't think I need therapy for that 🤣🤣

Very cold and snow on the ground, hmm, maybe just indoor stuff? I know SOME people don't love the rower 👀 but you have a treadmill, right? Yesterday we had very cold and very windy, and it was just awful, no thanks!

Yeah I think I’m gonna bring the cardio back and just try to keep my calorie intake up. I like feeling like I’m putting on muscle but I don’t like the thought that my health is slipping.

I was gonna do deadlifts today, but nope, woke up with back pain. Couldn’t figure out why until I was carrying my little elderly LA dog down the driveway to a spot to pee this morning and then I realized it’s all the dog carrying. Her paws have been a little irritated so I’m trying to keep her off all the salty pavement and ice… which is everywhere. And I think I started getting back pain on and off around when all the snow started and I started carrying her around 😭 gotta re-evaluate how we’re gonna get through these last few weeks of winter, and we’ll get some rain this week which will wash all this crap away so that’s good

Yeah it’s way harder to compensate with single leg exercises.. They’ll get you evened out if there’s an issue though.

(Also they’re a big part of strength endurance training, superset Bulgarians or walking lunges afterh a barbell squatat about 60% for improved joint stability and improved lifting posture. Less imbalances and less chance of injury)

I wonder… I think I may actually need to start doing more cardio again. Both my BP and cholesterol went up a little since I’ve let that go.as soon as the weather is more pleasant and I can breathe better I’ll be getting out going running more. I’m allergic to something in this house and my cardio went to complete shit this winter

Yeah bulgarians are a great theraputic exercise 👍 they've been a huge help to me recvoering from psoas thing

Today is rest for me, very sore everywhere, very tired, feeling slightly guilty/stressed about the idea of resting because of bad blood work news, gonna spend a few days feeling sorry for myself/angry about that 😭
