KnoxJ's Journal, 10 March 2023

I am so grateful for the incredible support and positivity that I have received from the community on my weight loss journey. When I first started out at 363 pounds, I felt overwhelmed and unsure of whether I could ever make the changes necessary to improve my health and wellbeing. However, with the help of so many amazing people, I have been able to make progress and achieve a significant weight loss milestone. I am now down to 300 pounds and feeling better than I have in years.

One of the things that I appreciate most about this community is how positive and encouraging everyone is. There is no judgment here, only support and kindness. Whether I'm having a good day or struggling to stay motivated, there is always someone here to offer a kind word or share their own experiences with weight loss. It's truly amazing to be a part of such a supportive group of people who are all working towards a common goal.

Of course, there have been challenges along the way. One of the biggest challenges I'm facing now is finding clothes that fit properly. As I continue to lose weight, my body is changing and it can be frustrating to have to constantly replace my wardrobe. However, even this challenge is made easier by the support of the community. I've received so many great suggestions and recommendations for clothing that is both comfortable and flattering, and I'm grateful for each and every one.

If you're also on a weight loss journey, I encourage you to reach out and connect with me. I'm always looking to make new friends who share my goals and values. Whether you're just starting out or have been on this journey for a while, I'd love to hear from you and offer whatever support and encouragement I can.

Remember, we are all in this together. No matter how difficult it may seem at times, we can achieve our goals and live the healthy, happy lives we deserve. With the help of this amazing community, I know that anything is possible. Thank you all for your support and positivity, and let's continue to work together towards our shared goals.

Thank you KnoxJ for expressing in words what I was thinking. Although I have been part of this community for a shorter time, I so appreciate the support given to those that have stumbled or those that have achieved. I have been in awe of many, including you, who have the drive and dedication to achieve their goals. It transforms my mindset and allows me to incorporate their aspirations into mine. The first thing I do in the morning is go to this site to get my inspiration for the day. I have an will trip up, but I know that I will find the affirmation to carry on.

I've had this app for about a year and a half at least. I never knew people posted and supported each other like this. It's amazing! Keep up the great work! We all got this.

There have been many here that have encouraged me along the way, through thick and thin, and I really appreciate them. I do not "do" any other social media so FS has been a lifesaver for me. You have been doing wonderful and we are all proud of you!

I am so happy for your success. I started my journey at 337 lbs on April 23 of last year. I was having issues with working for more than 15 minutes at a time. I felt exhausted and took 2 naps every day. I was taking omeprozal for chronic heartburn. My BP was often at critical levels (180/105). Blood sugar was 190 at my morning fast reading. My liver enzymes were almost 200. I joined Noom and learned to control my elephant (that part of me that drives my food addiction) and that food was not the enemy. I now watch (and log) my food every single day. I have a BMR of 2200 calories but set my target at 1975c and stay below that each day. My subscription to Noom ended last month and I've been logging here for the last 4 months or so. I haven't really posted much here because I had a lot of friends on Noom for support and people aren't as quick to post here (I thought) If we had the same level of support and posting here, it would be every bit as good as Noom (which costs 189 bucks for 10 months). I am grateful to Noom for my success, but now that I am on maintenance, this is quite sufficient. You are on the right course. I don't take medication anymore. My sugar is 113...BP is 112/70....liver is way into normal range. No heartburn at all. I don't nap unless I want to and can work pretty normal again. This morning I celebrate being "overweight" as I reached the 30 BMI level for the first time in over a decade at 233 lbs. This is a full life commitment. Don't give up or lose focus. It is worth th effort.

Wow that's amazing! I've had this app for a long time, but I never realized how much more it had to offer. I am excited to know that there's such a supportive community on here. I don't know how to direct message people or anything like that or if you even can, but I am always here to talk if you need to. I know that finding out people on here are so supportive really changed my outlook. I felt like I was in this completely alone. It's nice knowing I'm not alone. Keep up the great work!
