Hello all my FS compadres. I have been on this site for just a short while but I finally decided to say hi. I am an 67 year old Nana to 9 (my hearts). I live in WI and am recently retired from over 32 years of kitchen and bath design. I now work from home supporting my colleagues that still work at the ranch. I am gratefully working 40 or less hours a week now. I love to read, garden, fish and my passion (other than my family) is football, precisely the Packers. I have struggled with weight gain several years ago after I had a complete hysterectomy. The weight just kept piling on. I do have AFIB and COPD, both which limit my ability to exercise a lot but I do try religiously every day. I am committed to losing this weight and hopefully lengthen my life. I have read the posts on this site every day and I find them so inspiring. Thank you all so much for sharing. As a footnote; I am married to an amazing man who has never made a comment about my weight and is encouraging and supporting me on this journey. I don't know how to post this so....

Hospital stay
Hello all my FS friends. I just got out of the hospital, I had an AFIB episode. My heart rate kept spiking and when they tried to fix that my BP went dangerously low. They finally came up with the cocktail of medicines that eliminated the spikes as well as maintained a normal BP. I am very grateful to the staff of the hospital, they worked day and night. I am so very happy to be home now and feeling so much better. Please don't take a day for granted because you never know if you will get another. Take care and God Bless.
