Be careful when calculating those points! I should know. In addition to not properly calculating my points, I've spend the last 4 weeks thinking my point allowance was 24, when it was really 23! That aside, my husband bought me a food scale, and I weight EVERYTHING. Also, stay away from frozen and pre-packaged meals. (not including snack bars, cakes, cookies and ice-cream-those are good, just count the points!). But the frozen dinners are LOADED with sodium, which can be detrimental, I've learned. Also, they suggested that I refrain from working out during my first week or so, so that my body can adjust (I guess to getting lesser food!(LOL), just DON'T GIVE UP!

Try to weigh yourself at the same time of day everytime. Your weight fluctuates 1-3 lbs in an average day. I always weigh myself first thing in the morning and write it on a calendar so I can have a visual chart of my weightloss. Good luck and keep hanging in there!
