New Routine:

I have now gotten to a point where my workouts felt "stale" and needed a refresher. So I decided to go back to my full body workouts that I have done in the past couple years...The first two workouts were decent although it has been awhile since I have gone to this routine for the morning.

Full Body - Push Day

Muscle Snatch
45lbs x 10 reps
65lbs x 8 reps x 2 sets (30-45 second rest)

Bulgarian Split Squats (rough today!)
45lbs x 8 reps each leg
65lbs x 8 reps " "
65lbs x 10 reps " "
65lbs x 10 reps " " (30-45 second rest)

Flat Bench Press
45lbs x 12 reps
95lbs x 12 reps
135lbs x 8 reps
135lbs x 6 reps
135lbs x 5 reps (45-60 second rest)

Shoulder Press with Jerk (felt toast by the start of this)
45lbs x 12 reps
65lbs x 10 reps x 3 sets (30-45 second rest)

Corkscrew Rotations with Plate
10lbs x 8 reps/side x 3 sets

Squatting Cable Rope Crunch
70lbs x 20 reps
80lbs x 20 reps x 2 sets (30 seconds rest)

For Cardio HIIT:

100 burpee-pull ups, in 16:37.

Definitely a drop in my "hundy" burpee pull up time. The whole workout was tiring. This has to be due to the low carb/cal intake the past two days along with recently incorporating full body routine and first time doing the "hundy" at 6 am rather than at night. =P

Sorry it's been so long since I journaled people! Really busy the past few days. Anyways - hope all is well. Happy Wednesday!

I'm pretty sure I can't do 10 burpee pull-ups! Nice workout, I had to lookup what half of those exercises were, pretty intense man!

Hi Gerdik! This workout looks awesome. I think it's a great idea to switch to a different workout, if nothing else it is good for the mind! I really have to look into your food calendar and see what your ratios are etc... Do you take any rest during your "hundy"? Have a great day!

@tapee - Yes you can man! Just gotta give it a try and you will get them in no time. Trust me, even 10 reps will get your heart racing! Yea, the names to the exercises are hilariously silly but somebody had to have made them up! One day I hope to create my own exercise and name it accordingly, lol.

@jessy - Yea my calories this weekend averaged 3400! Then I immediately dropped it to under 2000, so it has taken its toll and I believe it mainly has to do with the decrease in carb intake. As for the "hundy", I start the timer before my first set then after every 5 reps, I hit the lap button to keep count, so 20 sets of 5 reps in that whatever time it takes. I try to keep it to a maximum of 30 seconds rest between sets, if it's a good day it'll only be 20-25 seconds rest. I try to imagine a partner to do it with but its hard, that's what keeps good pace is having someone going back and forth with you.

Oh wow! 3400 calories sound like a lot, and a drop to 2000 must leave you famished lol! That's too bad you don't have a workout buddy. I'm sure most of the time it's better to workout alone (that's how I feel anyway) but sometime it's good to share it with someone else especially when you time yourself on a special workout like this one. Wow 20 sets with only 30 seconds rest between sets, that makes the whole thing challenging! I guess you built yourself into it, it amazes me to think of what we can achieve with practice and dedication...
