not only gonna stay under 1500 cals in per day...gonna try and do some lite exercise even though doc says NO..plus walking my Molly several times a day....also wanna start doing low carb as well...as low as I can...I seem to need carbs or I feel tired and anxious and even a little crappy o.0 but trying is the best I can do for now...staying determined..:)

Find another doctor. I wouldn't suggest going against your doctor... just find one that will help you figure out what exercise is ok =) You can do it!

They say 80% of weight loss is diet. You may not want to push yourself too much after surgery.

thanks Quick for ur imput as well..i know I am always being told that I try to do way too much too soon all the time..but after being laid up so long I want to get back in the groove of living like yesterday o.0 ya know?? glad ur all here to encouragement and steer me in the right direction and keep me in check...:)

Do not go against doctor advice. If he is saying no there is a reason! Maybe talk to him about the possibility of some form of activity that you can do that he is okay with. Or even get a second opinion. Otherwise just focus on the other part of your plan, calorie counting and carb reduction and work in the physical stuff when you get medically cleared! I am a carb lover, I just eat smaller portions and healthier versions of the carbs.
