I believe I had a wonderful day. I went and picked up Thor from my neighbor and he was so excited to see me we was in the front yard for several minutes while he burned off some of that excitement then we walked. Then I went to the Y today and did my usual treadmill/swimming/hot tub ritual. It was very nice. There was a man there that talked my ear off and that was nice as usually not many people speak to me there but today was different kind of day. A lady gave me a compliment that truly was appreciated. She told me that I looked young. This is a first for me in a long time so I did appreciate that as I have had many times in the mirror where my self talk has not been kind to me when it comes to how old I look. I hope all my buddies had a really good day as well.

Yes, Thor is my neighbor's dog. I can't have a dog at this time because I have two cats that are used to just being with each other and also the expense of having a dog at this point I can't afford so I am borrowing a walking buddy. I hope to get a picture of us because I want to record this journey so I don't forget one thing I did, felt or thought on it.

Awe Thor is falling for you!! Too cute :-) Glad to hear you got some compliments and friendly faces at the Y. I love friendly people, the world needs more of that! I do my best to always have a friendly smile, safly I dont get many returned but thats just the way the world seems to be going. So happy to hear you had a great day!!

LadyBea40, I used to walk a neighbour's dog, Spencer. We had a great time and a great relationship until they moved away. It's a grand way to get in some exercise while enjoying a dog's joyful company. It's good for both you and Thor! Way to go!
