DAY 2 of The 100 by Jorge Cruise:

Yesterday I followed the outline exactly except I switched out 5 shrimp for 3 oz. of tuna & I only had the first snack as I didn't feel the need for the other one. Nor did I have any wine.

I woke up hungry!
Breakfast was a "skinny muffin".It was a little dry but overall I liked it.It would be a good fix if I ever crave chocolate. It was quick & satisfied my hunger.

Thru-out the morning I wasn't hungry,grouchy,shaky,headaches, etc.
After I ate lunch,I paid attention to how my stomach was feeling & I did feel as I could eat a little more. Jorge said,if one feels they need more they can have another helping of veggies. I decided to wait awhile & if I still felt I could eat more I would. The goal is to feel satisfied not full. He said feeling full means we over ate. About 5 minutes later,I felt satisfied so I didn't eat more.

Thru-out the day I felt no starvation, deprivation or negative symptons.
At dinner I left about 1/4 of my meat as I didn't feel full but was aware that I was feeling satisfied.

Overall I rate DAY 1: Successful :D
NOTES:
Look into WHY Jorge considers some foods containing carbs "freebies" such as tomatoes, red bell peppers, ground flax,cheese,spinach,....

That's excellent. Wake up hungry and find some little thing that will deal with it. I'd be interested in why those foods are considered freebies too. One last thought. You skipped the wine. That's great. Continue to do that. When we drink alcohol, the liver goes full steam, not on digesting the wine, but rather on detoxifying the alcohol from our bodies. There can be no fat loss with alcohol in the system. It's all locked up. It acts the same way as a large sugar induced insulin spike. Stay away from it. Let your body consume itself. Become your Avatar. I'm pulling for you.

Day 2 is fascinating. I like where your head is at e.g.:validating your whether or not you are satisfied before eating more. The mind body connection is so key. Keep it up. Thanks for sharing and taking us on this journey with you. Have a great evening.

I just read day 1 - quite a lot of discussion! I tend to agree with the comment (NMusician?) about "the diet works if you work the diet" (paraphrasing). Also keep in mind that what works initially may stop working after a while - don't be afraid to try different approaches. Good luck with this - you've got a nice downward trend going!

Thanks EVERYONE...your comments keep me motivated, alert,& in good humor :D By the way,NM...as much as I'd like to be commended for abstaining,it was because I don't care for the wine my hubby buys :D but I will keep what you said in mind when he partakes :D & BELLA...as soon as I find the answer I will post it. Thanks not just for reading & being interested but in adding your thoughts to my posts...it makes for ,as all the comments do,a delightful interchange of encouragement!.....ZEB...I've been trying" different approaches" every month, no chance for my body to get use to anything yet! :D
