Im not loosing weight, but I've notice more definition in my cheeks, and my calfs are small enough that I can fit in my daughter's boots. I've also noticed more sag in my stomach.

Its hard not seeing the scale move, but I know that it doesn't mean I'm not making progress.

Hang in there, Suzanne, lots of things keep the scales from budging, like heavy humidity, barometric pressure, lots of fruit, sleepiness, stress. Then suddenly one morning, 2 or 3 pounds are gone. If you're putting out more than you're taking in and getting exercise, worry not. The hour will come. I get impatient with the numbers too!

When I had that no-movement on the scales, I reverted to measuring myself with a tape measure, which gave me the much-needed "reward". Seeing the smaller numbers on the tape measure is just as powerful as seeing the scale numbers go down. Just a suggestion.

Thanks guys. I will try the tape measure. My problem is that I need that reward to keep me motivated

What about water bloating on some days? Doesn't the tape measure fluctuate the same way scales do?

I hate days that I bloat :)

I also started trying with the tape, and that felt gooooood! This friday I'll weigh in again and also measure myself; one of them must give me good nwes hopefully. Don't worry too much Suzanne, as you know even not seeing a change in numbers doesn't mean that there is no progress. Keep up with the good work!
