I am trying to get back in this, and I feel like starting to keep a regular journal is a big part of this. I need to regain my focus and resolve. I ate a good breakfast today, some toast and eggs. I have a nasty habit of eating sugar free ice cream or sugar free candy instead of regular food. I need to be eating healthful meal with REAL FOOD. I have been walking a lot at the gym - usually 3 miles whenever I go. I have recently started adding running a half mile. That's how out of shape I am - I was running a 10K six months ago and I have dwindled down. I want to get back there. I want to run at least another 5K.

Good for you - real food, good food, will give you the fuel you need to run that 5k. Intake and output; it's all related.

I tried to run today but I kept having a wardrobe malfunction. I was wearing these really cheap knit exercise pants from the supercenter, and they slide off of my non existent hips (I'm an apple shape). They were okay when I was walking 3 miles, but when I got on the treadmill to run, then they gradually started sliding, sliding and sliding pretty much way past where the sun don't shine. I had to stop running - my pant situation was not going to work for a run today. So I went home and will try again tomorrow with better pants.

I gained some. I am A little down right now but things will get better.
