Hang in there...looks like you are just starting out. I remember my first week...Tired, exhausted at times, but by day 5 I had more energy and was like, "Where did this come from?". My doctor said it would happen - we are losing all that sugar we've been consuming and our bodies are readjusting to the new food style. Give it time - YOU WILL FEEL BETTER!

Try some clear chicken broth or some chicken boullion. A couple cups a day helped pull me through.:)

it's called the "atkins flu". Happened to me as well. I remember that dreadful Friday. Hang in there! Your energy boost is coming and drinking broth will help - not the low-sodium kind either; you the fully-loaded stuff. Best wishes - Honk Honk!

It gets easier as you go, start getting in those 15 net carbs of foundation veggies right now from the start. Watch that "summer sausage" some of that nasty stuff is loaded with sugar. Try to keep your proteins cleaner, meaning less processed.,,,salmon, shrimp, turkey. Keep it mixed up because you get different nutrients from each and your body needs that variety. Good luck on your journey, you can do it as long as your mind has been made up! Keep educating yourself, knowledge is power and it will help you along the way.

You can do this! I felt icky for a few days the first week but once the energy revved up it was awesome! You will enjoy it so much!
