On the protein shakes and broth for before surgery. If it were possible to do this semi-long term, the weight would be a different matter!!! I can for this 5 days, but?????? Feeling a-ok and doing ok also.

Good going on the loss. Thinking back, I remember people used to do liquid diets all the time. As to whether they're healthy, I don't know. But the protein has super g's and I'm sure is loaded with vitamins.
Can you take vitamins? Maybe liquid ones. Just an FYI. I do Alive liquid. Looks like pond scum, son thinks it tastes like pond scum... as if he went to the neighbor's pond and gave it a taste, but because of gut problems I had to switch to the liquid.
Take care Bonnie.

Thank you. I have some liquid vitamins from GNC. Haven't tried them yet. I think the liquid protein will be ok for a few weeks, but not long term. Your exercise looks great again...is your back ok?

My back is so-so. I like to think the adjustment I got from my chiro helped. I still sit with a heating pad at night and do my stretches. And use what is called a "muscle roller". Pretty cool gadget and it helps stretch the muscles and helps with trigger point issues.
BUT... I'm not losing. Again. I should be used to this, but it irks me when I see no loss and know I've been under my daily rdi. Will eat a little on the 25th to celebrate my birthday, then will begin over again on the 26th with who knows what????
Getting fat is enjoyable. Losing it is hell.

Young like me... I thought I was older then you. 62 for some reason sounds really really old. Though my mind says otherwise. Yet my body screams ancient at times. ;~)

Thank you!! I appreciate the thoughts, hopes and prayers. Tomorrow is the big surgery day...if someone could be content with protein shakes and broth about two days a week, I bet plateaus would be broken and weight lost. I have lost 10 lbs since last Thursday. Lots of bloat and I feel better.

I guess you know you just gave me something to think about. I could do protein drink and broth for 2 days. Maybe not every week, but often enough to break the plateau. You're a genius!!!
Thank you.
