Whodoctor's Journal, 21 October 2008

Wasn't feeling good yesterday so I didn't eat a whole lot, instead I got out and decided to see how far I could walk at a fast pace in one direction for 45 minutes. Round trip came out to 6 miles. Actually took about 1 hour 45 minutes total instead of 1 hour 30 minutes. I was doing 4 miles in an hour and half, so this speed walking is doing good. Didn't loose as much weight as I thought yesterday, but I was able to eat one of my favorite steaks, a porterhouse, and only half of it. I know that the pounds will come off more slowly as I use up body fluid and the fat starts disappearing. I am also hoping to get some pics up so I and anyone else can watch the transformation. I'd love to get back to where I was before all the eye surgeries which is around 150-160 pounds, maybe even lower than that.

I know how frustrating it can be! SLOW sucks! But just keep at it and you will get there! I say this for my own thought as well as yours! I need to remember it took 20 years for the weight to creep up there, it will take some time to get it back down. About 9 years ago my body fat was 12% AND i WEIGHED 107 LBS. i RAN 7-8 MILES A DAY! Then, after a divorce and a job change I gained over 30+ ! WE CAN DO THIS!!! Keep it up!

Sounds like you are doing great with the exercise - and that is soooo important! Slowly means it will be gone forever...so keep it up!!
