I have not been around too much lately, which as you can see by my chart, was not a good thing. I have stayed so busy this summer and with the kids home with me all day it has just led to me getting out of control with my diet. I know there is not a good excuse for gaining back 20 of the 40 lbs i had lost, but it is what it is. I am so mad at myself for getting that sidetracked. But now I am back and ready to hit my goal!! I went shopping last night, and my kitchen it stocked and ready to go. My daughter will be going back to school in two weeks and we will get back on a good schedule. I am really excited to get back to my "good" eating habits. I noticed how crappy I have felt lately, from eating bad foods, and not exercising. I almost felt like I was getting a little depressed. But I am ready for this change.

Diet Calendar Entries for 29 July 2008:

I'm right there with you. I gained back half of my loss. Gotta get this back on track! Maybe this is a half-full half-empty thing: we should also be proud of the half we worked off, right?

It happens to us all Gracie, and it's good you are posting so that you will be able to come to terms with it promptly. I have no doubt that you will refocus shortly and get back on track again. Try to do this in the summer or fall as winter is a much more difficult time in which to lose.

Good to see you back! You just keep focusing on the positives though that you're still down 20lbs. It's so easy to get side-tracked... but you've done this before and can do it again! So just keep with those good eating habits and you'll soon be down again. ;o)
