Frustrated beyond belief. I am not losing at all...I'm craving everything I can't have....and I'm hungry! It's almost where I am ready to give up and eat what I want. If this isn't going to work, why am I still trying?

Habits take a while to take hold-it is how our brains operate. I found when I solely focused on the numbers, I didn't have as much success. However when I focused on my vision of what my life will look like and feel like once I had healthy habits, the weight came off. Be gentle with yourself. Have you tried keeping track of all of the positive changes you make every day? I write one thing a day that I am proud of food or non food related. Also, I find lack of sleep makes me crave. I am an emotional eater, but in the past year with a lot of positive self talk and daily readings of my vision statement (I read when I brush my teeth as it is posted in my medicine cabinet) that I have been able to connect with myself and my mind to figure out why I really want to eat. Sometimes, I cave, however with a lot of patience and practice I am now most times able to talk myself into a good space and realize that food will not fix the problem and remember what I really want more--to be healthy. Patience and practice will pay off and you will feel SO good and at peace. Remember you always have a choice and we work to make more good choices as we create new habits with lots of practice. You can do it!

Frist of all Hang in there You can do it Here are some of my thougts Just looking at a few of your entries I have a couple of suggestions Eat fewer Atkins products (especially those bars - they are sometimes staller. Eat veggies - but carrot is not an allowed veggie on induction. Be careful with cream (there is a cream limit) be careful with cheese (there is a cheese limit) Coffee mate probably has sugar or syrup in it and is no good for Atkins Try to cut down on some of the produced food products that you eat and focus on whole foods

Thank you both! I am trying to regain a positive attitude, and refocus myself. I get very little sleep, and live very hectic most of the time. Convenience foods have become routine for me- and obviously don't fit into the low carb lifestyle. I am trying hard to adjust, and I appreciate all of the positive feedback. I'll take any advice I can get- thanks again! =)
