The scale is way down today but still haven't gotten back to my lowest recent weigh in. September and October have been a complete wash. No weight lost. On the bright side, it might be just wishful thinking but I feel like my skin has gotten a little less loose and my clothes still fit me well. I still have that pair of size 16 jeans waiting for me but too small, yet. Come to think of it, at the beginning of September I was wearing a size 20 so even though I haven't lost weight, I have lost one dress size in the last 2 months. So, not a complete wash after all.

I should know better by now that these things happen when you are trying to lose weight. I hear my buddies and other FS journalers talk about it all the time but maybe I just thought it wouldn't happen to me.

Tomorrow I have an interview for my next consultant engagement. I have my outfit picked out and I am hoping they like me because I really don't want to go to "the bench". The bench is where you are still getting paid by your company but because you are not billable, you go from being an asset to a liability. It's nice from the aspect that I get to go into the actual home office every day and see office buddies and it gives me an opportunity to train up on new technology. However, the longer I am on the bench, the more I get paranoid that I will be laid off. Plus, it's just kind of boring after a while. I prefer to work on real problems than study hypothetical ones.

Today I am thankful for my sister. She is precious to me and even though we don't always get along, I am happy to have her in my life. I am thankful for remembering to pack a lunch today, big time saver and keeps me on track, calorie-wise. Ohh, and my credit score went up 19 points, putting me in the low-risk category. I am very thankful for that.

Aww - don't get too discouraged with the "Idiot Box" - it's just a number. You hsve lost inches - and you can tell by your clothes! When I feel stuck I go back in my food diaries and see what I was eating when I was better losing - and I try the same plan. Sometimes it kick starts me back on track. Good Luck!

If your clothes are loose but you haven't lost on the scale..whick is only a tool...you are at least losing inches and gaining muscle..muscle is more dense than fat but makes a big dif...Hang in there girl...your doing great...:O)
