Do you have any protein left overs in the fridge? That is waht I eat when I haven't had time to cook a meal and I am hungry!

I agree. I go for protein if I have to eat late with little to no carbs.

I am trying to have at the ready some hard boiled eggs in the fridge for just such an occassion. This is also a time when I dive into the cold cuts (wrapped around a piece of cheese) just to stave off hunger. A slightly modified (toward the savory side) MIM with a microwaved scrambled egg, cheese and some ham (or other protein) makes for a hearty and satisfying Egg McMuffin substitute.

I know most diets advocate not eating so many hours before bedtime, but I think it is actually better to eat in order to get your required calories than it is to skip the meal. The science of Atkins is not based upon when you eat but on eating enough of the right things. You did fine.
