Enjoying a couple of days off. I've been playing with a couple of Medifast meals, pudding , brownie and shakes. Shakes are easy to make at home and to kick them up a bit. I have an ice crusher on my fridge and put about a 1 1/2 cups of crushed ice in a 24 oz glass. Then add the envelope of shake mix and the measure of water. Next I use an immersion blender and mix well. I mix my shake extra thick to make it last longer. My fiance likes hers somewhat thinner and I use a little less ice or more water. We also add a 1/2 tsp of instant coffer, 1/8 tsp of vanilla extract and/or a stevia packet depending on the effect we are trying for.
Tried the pudding for the first time yesterday. A little bland but thickened very nicely. I'll try a stevia packet in it next time.
The brownie I've had once and it will need some help too! Not sure where I will go with it. Stay tuned...
